DISCO XXIII: Venue Information

DISCO XXIII will be held at the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort in Lihue, Kaua‘i, from 7–11 October 2012. The Kaua‘i Marriott is located adjacent to the 800-acre Kaua‘i Lagoons Golf Club. The resort is on Kalapaki Beach fronting Nawiliwili Bay on the island of Kauai, and is just a mile from the Lihue Airport and 1.5 miles from Lihue, the County seat.

This hotel has a private access road to the airport and provides courtesy transportation to and from the airport. It has four restaurants on the property, and is within easy walking distance to more retail and independent restaurant outlets in Nawiliwili town.

Check-in time at the hotel is 4 p.m., check-out is at 12:00 noon. Each guest room has a small refrigerator. Parking is available for a fee.

The hotel has multiple conference rooms, as well as outdoor function areas. Their business center has high speed internet access, computers, laptop data port stations, and a printer available for use (charges apply). Conference attendees will have complimentary email access in their hotel rooms, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access in multiple lobby areas of the hotel. For those who might wish to arrive early or stay on after the meeting, we are able to offer the discounted room rate at this hotel for 3 days before and 3 days after the symposium dates. Please indicate on your travel form should you wish to take advantage of this (at your own expense).
